Steve studied Fine Art at Queen’s and participated in the A.C.E Teacher’s College program which allowed him to explore the role of Arts in the community. He began teaching in Graz, Austria. Steve helped renew silk screen printing at McLaughlin C.V.I. and has been teaching at O’Neill for two decades. The students of Durham continue to amaze.
Ms. Fabris attended O'Neill CVI as a teenager, and went on to study art at the Emily Carr Institute of Design in Vancouver, BC. She worked in Marketing & Design for 10 years before becoming a teacher. She has two adorable cats, Henry & Edgar, loves to kayak and make art in her spare time.
Chantelle Lacoursiere OCT graduated from York University. Her studio experience includes printmaking, foundry, welding, installation/traditional sculpture and historical reproduction painting techniques. She was honoured by the RMG and awarded First Place in Print Media. Chantelle teaches Visual Art, Photography, Fashion and Interior Design at O’Neill C.V.I, her alma mater.
Wendy Wallace is a graduate from the University of Toronto, Sheridan College, and University of Ontario. She received a scholarship in 1985 from the Banff Centre's School of Fine Arts where she completed an independent study session. In 2009 Wallace continued her studies with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ontario, Institute of Technology. Wallace has been the recipient of Ontario Arts Council and Canada Council grants for her work as a visual artist and as an artist in education.
