In this unit you will expand your understanding of legal issues through the study of human rights. You will explore the legislation that exists to acknowledge and protect the rights of all people, the responsibilities of citizens and members of the justice community as well as the process of resolution when rights violations or controversies occur. You will also be asked to reflect upon the factors that challenge or threaten our ideas about human rights.
