Creating with Drawings & Sites

Google Drawings

Google Drawings can be used to create infographics and digital posters.

Google Drawings includes a number of features that make it a powerful tool for students to demonstrate their learning, including creating infographics and digital posters. Its free-form (and resizable) canvas is great for adding images, annotations, links to websites, word art, and much more.

Similar to Google Docs and Slides, Google Drawings includes the Comment feature and can be assigned as an assignment in Google Classroom.

Google Sites

Google Sites are a safe and secure website creation tool for students to demonstrate their learning.

At long last, we have a website creation tool that doesn't require teachers to setup student accounts on a third-party site. Google Sites is an intuitive but powerful tool for creating websites.

Google Sites allow students to embed content from their Google Drive (including Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms and Charts), as well as YouTube videos and Maps.

Students can also collaborate to build a Site.

Google Sites published by students are only available to DDSB users and cannot be made public. Teachers have the ability to publish within the DDSB or publicly.
