The Durham's Best Dance Crew competition started in 2012 for students in Grades 3-8 with the Durham District School Board.
The Durham's Best Dance Crew competition started in 2012 for students in Grades 3-8 with the Durham District School Board.
Last year (2025), we hosted almost 1000 students from 48 DDSB schools. There were 60 Dance Crew dances competing.
The competition dates for the 2026 season are Wed May 6th, and Thurs May 7th (preliminary competitions) during the school day, with the Top 12 Finals competition 2 weeks following, on Wed May 20th in the evening at Eastdale HS.

A registration form may only be filled out by DDSB employees. Registration opens in JANUARY, 2026.
Registration closes February 14.
If you are interested in having your child/child's school perform, please speak with a teacher/admin from your school.
