The Competitions will be held Wednesday May 6th & Thursday May 7th, 2026 (during the school day) for the preliminary competitions.

Preliminary competitions are held at Jeanne Sauvé P.S. in North Oshawa.
The Durham's Best Dance Crew competition runs 4 independent competitions over 2 days.
In 2023, we introduced a 'recreational' division which ran over 1 half day. We have our regular 'competitive' division that run the other 3 half days. *Teams from the 'recreational' division are not be able to qualify to the Top 12 Finals competition*
The Top 3 dances from each of the three 'competitive' category competitions will automatically qualify to the Top 12 Finals competition the following week. The other 3 qualifying teams will be based on score from the 3 competitive competitions combined.
