Hello Families! We are excited to begin our first full week in second grade. Students received their agendas this morning. They will write their homework and spelling words in them each week.

Phonics:  Unit 1: Read and write words with short vowels a-e-i-o-u

Reading:  Unit 1: (Integrated Literacy) What it means to be a good citizen

• Grammar:  Common and Proper nouns; Singular and Plural

Writing:  We are using facts and information to teach others about our community

Math:  Unit 0 : We're making 10 to add and subtract

Science: Not teaching at this time

Social Studies: Identify rules at home and school and explain why rules are important for safety and fairness
