Grading & Absences

Grading Guidelines:

All grades taken on assignments, tests, and/or projects will be recorded in the Student Information System’s electronic grade book in Infinite Campus.

1st - 5th Grades:

• A = 90-100

• B = 80-89

• C = 71-79

• D = 70

• F = Below 70

Art, Music, and Physical Education:

• S = Satisfactory

• N = Needs Improvement

• U = Unsatisfactory

If a student is absent they can complete any missing graded assignments when they return to class. We can send home missing independent practice assignments. Graded assignments can not be completed at home. Until the work is completed, a 55% will be placed in the grade book which is equivalent to a zero.
