President
LaKeesha was born in Memphis, TN, and moved her family to Georgia 13 years ago. She is a mother of one daughter who attends Douglas County High School. She is actively involved and supports her daughter's academics and extracurricular activities. She was a Dance Mom at a local competitive dance team for nine years, and her daughter has been a cheerleader for three years. LaKeesha has been a Registered Nurse for twenty years, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Baptist College of Health Sciences and a Master of Science degree in Nursing Leadership/Management from Western Governors University. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and attending live concerts.
As President of the Booster Club, her purpose will be to create a nurturing and supportive environment for students and staff by engaging parents and community members in cheer-related activities. As an active Booster Club parent, she is committed to building strong relationships, promoting school spirit, and ensuring that our collective efforts help provide the resources and opportunities needed for a successful cheer program.

Kimberly coached little league cheer and competition cheer for 5 years. She also served as one of the awesome 2024-2025 JV team moms. As your Vice President, Kimberly strives to make sure our cheer program has inclusion, great communication and lots of fun.
Finance Director
Candance Ross, originally from New Orleans, relocated to Douglasville in 2006. As a proud mother of three, all her children have attended Douglas County schools. Over the years, Candance has been an active participant in the school community, serving as an officer for both the PTA and PTO at North Douglas Elementary and Stewart Middle Schools. She has also been involved with the DCHS Band and Volleyball Boosters. Last year, she had the honor of serving as a Teen Mom for the Junior Varsity Cheerleading Team.
In her professional life, Candance is a dedicated Realtor, Mobile Notary Public, and the owner of Ross Business Solutions, where she assists small business owners with payroll, taxes, administrative services, and more. In her free time, she enjoys reading and creating memories with family and friends.
As the incoming Financial Director, Candance is eager to collaborate with the other officers and coaches to ensure a fun, successful, and rewarding season for all.
Treasurer
Elaine Adams will serve as the 25-26 Booster Club Treasurer, collaborating with Financial Director Candance Ross on the financial management of the Booster Club and DC Cheer program.
Previously, Elaine was a JV team cheer mom in the 24-25 season, becoming involved when her daughter joined the team as a freshman. Her commitment to supporting the cheerleaders led to her involvement with the Booster Club.
Elaine is originally from New Orleans and has lived in GA since 2005. She married in 2007, moved from Alpharetta to Douglasville in 2009, and welcomed her daughter Cameron in 2010. Elaine holds a B.S. in Accounting from Southern University at New Orleans. She began her career as an Auditor with the State of GA in 2006 and later transitioned to the field of Compliance.
Fundraising Coordinator
Ramanda Copeland is a dedicated United States Marine Corps veteran and holds an MBA degree. Currently serving as the Vice President at US Bank, she is also an entrepreneur in the fitness industry. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Ramanda is passionate about giving back, actively volunteering for various humanitarian causes. She is the proud mother of Jada Paige Stone, a member of the junior varsity cheer team. Recently appointed as the Fundraiser Coordinator for the DCHS Cheer team, Ramanda is excited to leverage her diverse skills and experiences to enhance the team's fundraising efforts this year.
