You want to be a Tiger Cheerleader?
Well, let's get started! Take the steps below to ensure that you are up to date on all information. We believe in being a student first. That means that all of our program members are held to a standard not only on the field, but off the field as well. Physical fitness is also a large part of our team goal. It's about mind, body and spirit. You will find all information about the registration process below. If you are an athlete coming to DCHS from a non-Douglas County School System School, please email us at dchstigercheerleading@gmail.com to get access to documents and information located in Google Classroom! Please be mindful that you will still need to adhere to all deadlines and requirements.
Tryout Timeline:
Applications Due 3/27 at 7pm
No exceptions!
vClinics: 3/31- 4/2 (Main Gym)
3/31: 4:30pm-8pm
4/1: 4:30pm-7pm
4/2: 4:30pm-7pm
**Please note that pick-up times are goals, not guaranteed, and athletes may run 5-10 minutes over to clean up and review.**
Final Evaluation: 4/3: 4:30pm-Until
ALL DAYS ARE MANDATORY!
Teams will be released Friday 4/4 after 5 pm via our website and Instagram.

You must have a physical to participate. ALL PAGES ARE REQUIRED! Make sure that your physician fills out all sections and signs the document.

Create Your Own Cheer/Band Dance for Tryouts!
You will be asked to perform an original cheer or band dance at any time during the clinic portion of the tryout week. This cheer will be viewed and assessed by the coaches for creativity! Your cheer or dance will be scored and evaluated along with your tryout score to determine team placement.

Introducing an innovative opportunity for candidates to receive one-on-one, real-time feedback on material of choice from a panel of cheerleading professionals in a constructive and postitive environment.
Candidates will have the opportunity to show the panel any material they choose for feedback. This can include:
Their original, individual chant or dance
Any March Madness material
Jumps
Please bring your own device to play any music or record the feedback if you desire.
