About Me

Hi there! My name is Abby Scott and I am the 3rd grade math teacher! This is my first year in Douglas County but this is my 5th year teaching! 4 out of the 5 years I have been teaching 3rd grade! I am a Griffin native but I am excited to live on the West/North side of Atlanta, I have Masters in Education from Nelson University and I am currently enrolled at University of West Georgia where I am in pursuit of my Master’s of Art’s in Teaching. I just got married in November 2025 to my sweetheart Tyler! I am a lover of all things agriculture. I am a gardener and a loving dog mom! I am so blessed for opportunity to teach your child this year! My doors are always open if you need anything! I believe that every person is a math person! Let’s make this year great!
