Welcome to our 2025-2026 school year at AWES where we are "Learning Beyond the Reef". My name is Mrs. Esther O-Brown and I am excited to be a part of this AWESome Wildcat family where we work together to learn and grow.
I am entering my 12th year as an Educator in the Douglas County School System and my 22nd year in Education. I have had the pleasure of serving as a Kindergarten Paraprofessional and I have also taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade and 3rd grade. My own personal learning experiences may be credited to the great Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, NY and Atlantic Union College in South Lancaster, MA.
This year promises to be filled with lots of fun as we dive into learning. This is where greatness grows!
