MS. BYRD 

WELCOME TO 301 WHERE LEARNING IS FUN!!!!

Hello Families! My name is Ms. Byrd, and I am so excited to be your child’s third grade teacher this school year! This is my third year teaching in a classroom setting, and I am passionate about creating a learning environment where every student feels welcomed, supported, challenged, and confident in their ability to succeed.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Temple University and my Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education. Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked with elementary students to strengthen their skills in reading, writing, math, and critical thinking while also helping them become more independent and confident learners.

One of the things I value most as an educator are my students’ voices. I believe students learn best when they feel that their ideas matter and when they are given meaningful opportunities to make choices, ask questions, collaborate, and take ownership of their learning. I enjoy creating engaging lessons and classroom experiences that encourage students to discover their strengths, express themselves, and grow both academically and personally.
