Ms. Loper

I am a passionate 6th grade Science teacher who believes every student has the ability to learn, grow, and succeed. I strive to make Scienceexciting, meaningful, and connected to the world around my students. I create a classroom environment where students feel safe, respected, supported, and encouraged to ask questions. I believe in hands on learning that allows students to explore, investigate, and discover answers for themselves. I am patient and dedicated, especially when working with students who may need extra encouragement or support.  I challenge my students to think critically, solve problems, andnever be afraid of making mistakes because mistakes are apart of learning.
