Ms. McClure

Hi families--welcome to the 2026-27 school year! My name is Ms. McClure, and I am excited to be teaching ELA at JYK Discover!  As a new member of the JYK Discover community, I am looking forward to getting to know my students and their families. In our classroom, we will prioritize kindness, exploration, creativity, and rigor. I believe learning should be engaging and challenging while also being a place where students feel supported, encouraged, and comfortable sharing their ideas while being pushed towards their academic best.

Outside of the classroom, I love reading and traveling, and I am also a huge Philadelphia sports fan! (GO BIRDS!) I am so excited for a wonderful year of learning, growing, reading, and exploring together!
