Hello! 

My name is Ms. Vega, and I am thrilled to be entering my second year as a teacher here at Discovery Charter but first year here. Although I am originally from Chambersburg, PA, I have found a wonderful new home in Philadelphia and am excited to bring my passion for teaching to this vibrant community.

With eight years of experience working with children, I am dedicated to creating a classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported. My approach to teaching centers on hands-on learning, as I believe that engaging activities and interactive lessons help students of all learning styles thrive. I am committed to fostering an atmosphere of curiosity, creativity, and respect, and I strive to make each student's learning experience both enjoyable and meaningful.

I want you to know that my top priority is your child's growth and well-being. I am here to support them every step of the way and to ensure that they have the tools and encouragement they need to succeed. ~ EACH CHILD will be places into their houses by groups!

~ The groups are responsible to make sure they are following directions, doing assistments, homework, behavior, and so much more with the classroom. 

~ Students will also be given a CLASSROOM JOB. Which would allow them to have points. 

~ Points will be GIVEN when they complete their assignments. 

~Points will be TAKEN AWAY if they are not following directions or what is listed above. 

~The house with the MOST POINTS each month will be getting the HOUSE CUP plus prizes!

~Points will be GIVEN through Dojo. 

~ Homework will be given out on Mondays to be returned on Friday Morning!
