Pick Up/Drop Off Expectations

Transportation for kindergarten students is an important aspect of their daily routine and comes with several key expectations:

Timeliness: Ensure that your child is ready and waiting at the designated pick-up or drop-off location on time, the main entrance of Wildcat Mountain Elementary. This helps the transportation system run smoothly and prevents delays for everyone.

Identification: Make sure you or anyone designated to pick up your child has the appropriate ID or pass if required.

Safety: Always supervise your child until they are safely on the bus or in the care of the designated adult at drop-off. Make sure they are aware of basic safety rules, such as staying seated on the bus and waiting for the driver’s instructions.

Communication: Inform the school and transportation provider if there are any changes to your child’s regular transportation routine. This includes changes in who will be picking them up or any alternate arrangements.
