Born and raised in Mexico, and now living in Colorado for the past four years, Gabby's journey began in business and marketing before shifting to a passion for wellness over 16 years ago. It started with helping family members, and grew into a love for supporting others in feeling better, living better, and truly enjoying life. As a yoga teacher deeply passionate about wellness and childhood, she is excited to join the school community and help students unlock their potential and find happiness. In her free time, she loves being in nature, skiing, meditating, reading, and spending time with her dog. Her guiding principle is that everyone deserves a happy, fulfilled, and respected life.
Kathy comes to us with 16 years of experience as a paraprofessional. Hailing from Wisconsin, she loves the Green Bay Packers and squeaky cheese curds! Kathy also developed her love and passion for the job there as well, and brought it with her when she moved to Colorado 12 years ago. She has a calm and caring presence to bring to the classroom and truly enjoys working with students from every walk of life.
I've spent the last six years as an EA IV in the SSN program at Cresthill Middle School, where I’ve had the privilege of focusing on what our incredible students can do rather than what they can’t. Before this rewarding role, I spent over 30 years navigating the world of databases as an administrator.
I'm also a proud U.S. Air Force veteran and a graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara. You can find me on the golf course, exploring new destinations, or chasing after my two energetic granddaughters when I'm not at school.
What I love most about my work in the SSN room is watching our students grow—whether it's mastering a new skill in the classroom or building confidence in social settings. There's nothing more gratifying than seeing them shine!
