Day 1: Part 1: Anticipation Guide (in the classroom or LMC)

1. Make copies (or project). “Illicit Drugs: What Do You Know?  Anticipation Guide for students...Caution: Answers are on page 2.

   1. 1. Explain the directions to the students and have them complete the worksheet. 

      2. Go over the worksheet as a class and call on students to answer the questions. 

2. Using the answer sheet, explain why each statement is a “truth or myth”.

3. Wrap-up activity by letting the students know that each of these questions will be covered in the “illicit drug” unit.

Day 1: Part 2: Introduction (in the classroom or LMC)

1. Introduce students to illicit drugs.

2. Use a quiz on Kahoot to check for understanding

3. Ask Students: What questions do you have about illicit drugs, drug abuse, and addiction? 

   1. Have students complete the Google Form
