Tara Ail

I am thrilled to be back at Sedalia for the 7th year. I grew up in Garden City, Kansas, and earned my degree in Elementary Education from Fort Hays State University. This is my 16th year in education and I am as passionate today about inspiring tomorrow’s leaders as ever.

I am married to Jon and we have a son in high school, Corbin. We have two dogs named Chase and Milk Dud (one of my favorite candies). In my free time you can find me with a good book, outside in the yard, hiking trails, rooting for our favorite sports teams and spending time with friends and family.

HAYLEY BROWNING

My name is Hayley Browning and I am the new 5/6 teacher at Sedalia Elementary. I grew up in Michigan and recently moved out here to Colorado. I am loving every minute of it so far! I graduated from Michigan State University (go green!) in 2018 with a degree in Elementary Education and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.

I am the youngest of two -- I have an older sister, Sarah. She and her husband, Keith, just had their first child. I am officially an aunt! My wonderful parents, Chuck and Stacy, are back home in Michigan with our adorable puppy named Phoebe. I talk to my family back home constantly and am excited to form a family with my students and the staff here at Sedalia.

In my free time you can find me doing yoga, reading, snowboarding, or hiking with my friends. I cannot wait to continue to explore Colorado and make new memories both at school and outside of it.

Todd Lowry

My name is Todd Lowry and I am 5/6 Teacher at Sedalia Elementary. This is my 9th year at Sedalia Elementary, a place I consider a second home. I truly enjoy the opportunity to work with the students, staff, and families of Sedalia Elementary. I strive to help students realize their potential in all aspects: academic, social, and emotional. I love to travel and spend time at the beach. I am fascinated by languages and find great value in art and music. I have 4 crazy children (all 8yrs and younger!...my wife is my hero), with two of them attending Sedalia Elementary this year. I am looking forward to another great year with the students and staff of Sedalia.

Susan Smith

My name is Susan Smith, and I am an English Language Development teacher here at Sedalia Elementary. I am happy to be starting my fifth year here, although I have taught for twelve years in other schools as a fifth grade, third grade, and grades K-6 reading teacher as well. When I'm not teaching, you can usually find me watching my children play sports and participate in their activities. I am married to Kyle, and we have 5 children, ages 21, 19, 18, 15, and 14. We also have 2 dogs! I love our busy household! Some of my hobbies include hiking, enjoying time with my awesome family and friends, reading, and cooking healthy meals for my big family. I am looking forward to another wonderful year with all of the amazing people here at Sedalia!
