About
Mrs. Hoff
My education and teaching journey:
Hello! My name is Meghan Hoff. I attended Colorado State University and graduated with a Public Relations degree. After completing an internship at a local newspaper office, I quickly realized that I wanted to pursue what I had always said I would do, teach. I received my teaching license and a Masters in Elementary Education at Regis University.
This will be my 10th year of teaching, with time taken to stay home and raise my two daughters. A majority of my time teaching has been in the classroom teaching second grade with a few years spent teaching first grade, but most recently I have been a part of the Response to Intervention team working with readers K-5.
I was fortunate enough to be a part of the team at Gold Rush Elementary from the very beginning and it has always been my home base ever since. I truly feel so lucky to be surrounded by dedicated, passionate colleagues that inspire me and push me to be the very best educator I can be.
My family:
My husband, Brent and I are both Colorado natives. I grew up in Pueblo, CO. We have lived in Parker for 16 years and we recently just moved out to Franktown, CO. I have two daughters, who also attend Gold Rush Elementary. Sailee will be a fifth grader and Everlee will be in second grade. They both have a true passion for gymnastics and we spend many, many hours at the gym each week. As a family, we love to spend any free time being outdoors. Beaver Creek is one of our most favorite places to visit, with Arizona being a very close second to places we love to go. We love to do anything outdoors, hike, ride our bikes, swim, ride four-wheelers and just be active.
