I update my website WEEKLY (usually on Sundays) for the upcoming week. Each update will include a link to the previous week's newsletter as well as the homework assignments for the week. If homework plans change during the week, I will do my best to provide the updated info ASAP. Students should expect to have daily homework, and will only be required over weekends or breaks if students are missing work.

CMAS Scores Available Online Early June
Dear DCSD Families,
We are incredibly proud of the growth and achievement our students demonstrated throughout the school year. In April, students in grades 3 through 8 and 11 participated in the Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) assessments, where they showcased their knowledge and skills aligned with Colorado’s academic standards. You can access your child’s CMAS score reports electronically through the Pearson Family Portal. This secure and user-friendly platform offers timely access to your child’s performance information. Elementary Progress Reports (EPRs) will be released in early June. Paper copies are not sent home, and the school will send an email to notify families when they are accessible. EPRs indicate student academic progress against several Grade Level Expectations (GLE) within each subject matter area (School Level Expectations, English Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, & Physical Education).

On days when the mode of pickup changes, please remember to make that change in the app before 3:30 PM. If you email me to notify a change, I may not see it until well after dismissal time.
