Hello! My name is Connie McCann and I am so excited to be your Second Grade Teacher here at Pine Lane Elementary!
I have a Masters degree in Psychology in the School of Education. I taught Pre-K (4 & 5 year olds) in Pennsylvania for 3 1/2 years before moving to Colorado and staying home with my kids. I was a part of Pine Lane as a Parent Volunteer and an active member of the PTO and SAC for 9 years. For two years, I worked as a Special Education Assistant in Highlands Ranch. I was the Preschool Classroom Teacher here at Pine Lane for 8 years. I have 3 kids (Reagan, Braden and Alyssa - who moved in with us when she graduated High School). In my down time, I love reading, listening to music, watching musicals, skiing, camping, biking, and hiking. I enjoy traveling to Europe, visiting family on the East Coast and watching my son play drums. I am looking forward to a great year in second grade!
