In Math,  we use the Ready Math Curriculum.  The major work of our grade centers around Place value, volume, multiplication and division of whole numbers, and the addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions and decimals. 

In Literacy, we use the Benchmark Literacy Curriculum. We focus on analyzing complex literary and informational texts, making connections across all content areas , and determining themes and evicence of author's thinking. Releasing Writers is the framework that we use to create excellent writers.

In Science, the curriculum that supports our learners is called Stemscopes.  This year, students will use the Claim, Evidence, and Reasoning model to support their scientific thinking.  Students will learn about space, chemical reactions, plants, ecosystems, and more.

Our students will learn about the five parts of socials studies: history, geography, civics, economics, and financial literacy. They will study our government, maps and landforms, history from the Age of Exploration to the American Revolution.  We will also learn how to be financially literate with a culminlating field trip to Ameritowne.
