Poem prompt: Whale Falls support the ecosystem at the bottom of the ocean. Write a poem celebrating a whales life and how whales continue to impact the ocean after death.

Guidelines:

• Must be legible (preferably typed)

• School Appropriate

• 2 page maximum

• Submit your poem to your school librarian and Ms. Rhodes (evrhodes@dcsdk12.org) by October 7th.
