Hello, students and parents! I am thrilled to be your guide on this exciting journey through the wonders of science and the captivating world of social studies. My name is Kayla Mozelewski and I am here to make learning an unforgettable adventure for your child! This is my fifth year of teaching. This is my third year teaching 5th grade here at Northridge. I previously taught 5th grade for two years in St. Louis, Missouri, and then took off for 8 years in order to be home with my babies. 

I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. We moved to Colorado eight years ago for my huband's job. I graduated from Lindenwood University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary education and Early Childhood Education.  My husband and I have three girls, Hailey (14,) Maddie (8,) and Josie (5.)  We are a big Disney family and spend most of our weekends watching our oldest daughter play soccer (go Rush!).

In our classroom, every voice matters, and each student brings a unique perspective that enriches our learning community. I am committed to creating an atmosphere where you feel valued, supported, and empowered to share your ideas and embrace challenges fearlessly.

Through collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity, we will unlock the doors to knowledge, and together, we will celebrate every success and learn from every setback. As your teacher, I am not just here to impart knowledge but to be your mentor, cheerleader, and friend.
