Hello, students and parents! I am thrilled to be your guide on this exciting journey through the wonders of science and the captivating world of social studies. My name is Kayla Mozelewski and I am here to make learning an unforgettable adventure! This is my third year of teaching. Last year, I was a flood teacher at Northridge and fell in love with the school's community and decided it was time for me to come back full time. I previously taught 5th grade for two years in St. Louis, Missouri.

I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. We moved to Colorado seven years ago for my huband's work. I graduated from Lindenwood University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary education and Early Childhood Education.  My husband and I have three girls, Hailey (12,) Maddie (6,) and Josie (3.)  We are a big Disney family and spend most of our weekends watching our oldest daughter play soccer.

In our classroom, every voice matters, and each student brings a unique perspective that enriches our learning community. I am committed to creating an atmosphere where you feel valued, supported, and empowered to share your ideas and embrace challenges fearlessly.
