Hello, my name is Holly Morris and I am the music teacher at Northeast and Mountain View Elementary. I am looking forward to being part of this community!
I grew up in Pueblo, Colorado, and went to school at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. I majored in Music Education and Trombone Performance.
Going into college I was planning on a career in Trombone Performance but when I got to Elementary Methods, I fell in love with education. I have a very energetic, sometimes silly personality so I quickly found that elementary music was the perfect world for me. My classroom is full of playful exploration of music.
I currently live with my two sisters and our two spoiled dogs, Lacy and Luna. In my free time, I still play my trombone. I play in one of Denver’s community bands. When I’m not playing my trombone, I love to spend time in Pueblo with my family and our many dogs. I also love hiking, board games, and binge-watching tv shows with my sisters.
I am looking forward to meeting you all!
