Ms. Stickney's 5th Grade Class

About Ms. Stickney

This is Keke's twenty-second year in education, and her second year at Eagle Ridge Elementary.  Her elementary teaching experience includes working at nearby Redstone Elementary, Arrowwood Elementary, and even Rock Canyon High School!

Other than Elementary Education, she has a passion for Health Education. She has worked as a District Coordinator in three Colorado School Districts; DCSD, Jeffco Public Schools, and with Telluride Public Schools. Most recently, she taught Health 4th-12th in Telluride, and wrote/earned grants to fund Health Education K-12, totaling over $140,000!

She is thrilled to be back in DCSD, and excited to be part of the Eagle Ridge family!

Keke holds a Bachelors Degree, from Colorado State University in Exercise Physiology. She then obtained her Teaching Credential, at the University of Denver. Later, she earned a Masters degree at Regis University, in Education Leadership and Policy Studies, as well as her Principal License.

Keke has lived in the Lone Tree/Wildcat Ridge area for the past 26 years, with a brief lapse last year, when she was in Telluride. Keke's favorite part of teaching, is building relationships with her students, and their families.

In her free time, she enjoys time hiking, skiing, coaching volleyball, sewing and doing HOT yoga! She has two grown boys, who both graduated from nearby Rock Canyon High School.
