All About Ms. Little

 Arrowwood is a great school community!  We have THE BEST kids,  families,  staff, and  adminstrators!  That's why I've been at Arrowwood Elementary since 2001.  Throughout those years, I've  had the pleasure of teaching 6th, 5th and 3rd grades. Teaching is the most rewarding, interesting and challenging job I've ever had!  Education is always changing and I love learning from my colleagues and students. I retired in 2022 and this year I am beginning my third year at Arrowwood as an interventionist.  I am part of the intervention team known around the school as the Legends.   I have a  MA in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado at Denver and earned my undergrad degree at Illinois State in French and Accounting.

My family moved to Colorado from Guelph, Ontario, Canada in 1997.   Before living in Ontario, I lived in Oregon, Iowa, Wisconsin and my home state of Illinois.   I have two grown children.  My son and his wife live in San Antonio and have two children.  My daughter lives in Wyoming with her husband and two children.  

I have an English Cream Golden Retriever named Sophie. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, hiking, reading, kayaking , going to movies and continuing my education.
