Hello! My name is Kimberly Borner, and I’m so excited to be your child’s third grade teacher this year. This will be my eighteenth year teaching in Douglas County, with most of these years spent right here at Timber Trail Elementary. I love this community and school, and I’m proud to be both a teacher and a resident here. 

I am married and a proud mom to boy and girl twins who attended TTE and are now in their last year at Rocky Heights Middle School. We also have a 5-pound Chihuahua named Pebbles who adds a lot of fun and energy to our home.

Third grade is an exciting year full of growth. Students become more independent, strengthen their reading and math skills, and dive deeper into science and social studies. It’s a year of curiosity, confidence, and big learning milestones.

I am so grateful to work with amazing students and families, and I cannot wait to get started.
