Good Morning!
This week in first grade we will be wrapping up our school year by making a memory book and setting goals for summer and beyond. It has been such a privilege to work with your child this year. Thank you for trusting me to help educate them. I hope you all have a nice Summer!
A few reminders for the week:
1. This week's specials are Music and Spanish.
2. All library books are due today.
3. Tomorrow is Field Day. Students need to dress for the weather and activities and bring a sack lunch from home. They may bring a towel and change of clothes in their backpack in case they get wet.
4. On Thursday, students can wear pajamas and bring one stuffed animal to school ( it needs to be able to fit in their lap). We will celebrate our hard work this year with a movie and snack.
5. Friday is the last day of school. Students need to bring a sack lunch from home and a towel or blanket to sit on for our picnic. We will meet on the baseball field at 11:30. Families are welcome to join us. Following the picnic, you may check your child out of school for the day by signing them out with me. Students are also welcome to stay until the end of the day at 3:30 if you are working and/or are not able to attend the picnic.
Updates from PTO:

Several local restaurants are participating in a "NRE Give-Back Day" on May 23. Stop by a participating restaurant and pick up lunch for your family on your way to the NRE Family Picnic, or treat your family to dinner out to kickoff the summer. Each of these participating restaurants will give back a portion of the proceeds when you mention NRE while ordering. Please see the flier in Thursday folders on 5/15 for more details. Thank you to each of these generous community partners!
