Welcome to Team nokota Language Arts 

Welcome to Cimarron and Team Nokota!  I bring a rich educational background, with a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, a focus on Elementary Education, and a minor in Special Education. I also hold a master's degree in Education and Literacy and many other graduate classes and certifications. I'm proud to say that this is my 25th year in the rewarding teaching field.

On a personal note, I'm married and a proud parent of two wonderful children who are Cimarron alumni. My son Brayden is currently in college and thoroughly enjoys his work at a local golf course. My daughter Lauryn, a Regis Jesuit High School senior, is a passionate lacrosse goalie, playing for her high school and a club team.

My Favorites

Hobbies: I am a Colorado native and enjoy spending time outdoors.  I love listening to live music and going to sporting events (go Broncos and Avs).  As a family, we enjoy traveling and spending time in new places.  Seeing Lauryn compete in lacrosse games around the country is super fun.  I treasure spending time with friends and family.
