Welcome to my website

Hello Dear Parents and Students: My name is Martha Amezquita.

I have been trained as a Foreign Language teacher grades K through 12. I have taught in many different types of schools with different methodologies. I have taught in private schools, public ,as well as charters schools. This is my tenth year here at Cresthill Middle School and for what I have seen up till now, I am loving it.

In my classroom I love to have fun with the students, playing games and other interactive activities, but I am also strict when I am introducing a new lesson. So students need to know when play time is over and when more attention and focus on a task are required, in order to be successful. I have great expectations for all my students.

I believe that to teach a Language is not only to teach words, it is also to teach cultural ways of understanding people from other countries, and that ,will make this world a more peaceful one with open minds.

I strongly believe that everybody can learn in different ways and my personal mission is to give to my students the best and to get out of them the best that I can by using different techniques.
