What you need to know:

Summer Enrollment Process:

1. All families wishing to use the Summer Program need to print out the below enrollment form, fill it out completely and turn into a Lion's Club staff member by Thursday, May 9th, 2024 at 6pm. Enrollment turned in after this date will be accepted based on space/availability and will need to be approved by our BASE Manager or Assistant Manager.

2. If you were not enrolled for the 2023-24 School Year, please complete the online enrollment link below as well as the enrollment form below.

3. All summer families can begin singing up for May/June Summer Dates using their SCW Parent Portal. Dates should be available for registration by Friday, May 10th.  

**Due to the start of the 2024-25 school year being July 1st, 2024...families will need to register for the 2024-25 school year in order to have access to Summer Dates beginning July 1st.  This enrollment window will open Monday, May 1st and will need to be completed by all families needing care after June 30th, 2024.  We are happy to announce the registration fees will once again be waived for all families for the 24-25 school year. 

What to expect:

* When we have bus field trips, students will be asked to wear their yellow tie dye LTE Field Trip Shirt,  unless otherwise specified on the activity itinerary.  We will have a limited number of shirts to borrow if they do not have one, therefore, retuning families please try your best to have your student remember their shirt.  When in doubt, a bright yellow t-shirt on a field trip day is much appreciated. (*Please note, we will not be selling any shirts this year...you will not be billed if you child needs to borrow a shirt.  If you are looking for a similar shirt to the LTE Field Trip Shirt, the GOLD kids tie dye t-shirt on amazon is a great option though definitely not required.)

* Please be sure to check the weekly itineraries so you know what your student will need each day as well as timing of special activities such as being there experiences and guest speakers.  Monthly activity calendars and weekly itineraries will be available soon.

* Students must be enrolled for summer by completing the Summer Enrollment Form below and turning it into one of our staff members.  Forms are due by Thursday, May 9th, 2024 at 6pm.

* Sign up for specific dates will need to be done through your SCW Parent Portal, this includes late registrations/Drop-In's.  Please remember, we do not accept day of Drop-Ins. Late Registration, after the Wednesday of the week prior, is not guaranteed.  If space is available, SCW will allow you to register late and charge you a drop in fee.  Please feel free to contact our BASE Manager, Kate Speir, or our Assistant Manager, Matthew Bacon, with any questions regarding sign up.

*There is a possibility dates will fill up prior to the Wednesday of the week prior so early sign up is suggested.  If we are full, there will not be an option to sign up for that specific date.  Please email our BASE Manager, Kate Speir, if you would like to be added to a waitlist for any date that is full. ksspeir@dcsdk12.org.  Program credits will only be issued after the Wednesday of the week prior has past if your spot is filled by a family on the waitlist.  

* When using the SCW Calendar, if you click on the red asterisk  (*) on any given day, it will give you a short summary of what we are doing that day.  Continue to use the online calendars and itineraries for additional information.  These calendars and itineraries will be available soon.
