Eric Hoskins, M.A. Counseling
I was born and raised in Lakewood, Colorado, attending Bear Creek High School and the University of Colorado at Boulder. I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from CU and a master’s in Counseling from Colorado Christian University.
I have extensive experience working with youth in various settings, from residential treatment centers to Denver Public Schools. I also have experience working at the National Suicide Prevention Hotline and for child protection in both Adams and Arapahoe Counties.
I am married and have three wonderful kids, as well as four dogs. I enjoy riding my motorcycle on the weekends.
Tana Kormen
My name is Tana Kormen and I’m thrilled to be joining the Counseling Team at Legend!
This will be my 4th year as a school counselor and my 8th year in Education. Prior to becoming a school counselor, I taught 1st grade and did a brief stint teaching middle and high schoolers in a juvenile detention center.
Through teaching, I saw the need to help students navigate their mental health so they could become the best students and overall versions of themselves.
Outside of counseling, I help coach girl’s basketball at Highlands Ranch High School and am excited to begin helping with girl’s softball at Legend this year.
When I’m not at school or coaching, you can find me at home with my family, snowboarding/doing outside activities, or playing sports in one of my many adult leagues.
I look forward to working with each student and family to best support every unique need that may arise!
Go Titans!
Lindsay McBride, LPC
I grew up in the small town of Edwards, Colorado, graduating from a high school class of just 14 students. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Roanoke College in Virginia, where I also played four years of collegiate volleyball. Missing the stunning Rocky Mountains, I returned home to pursue my master’s degree in Sport and Performance Psychology at the University of Denver.
For seven years, I worked as a Behavioral Health Clinician at Children’s Hospital Colorado, supporting kids and families across inpatient and outpatient units at the Pediatric Mental Health Institute. In 2019, I made the move to become a Counselor at Legend High School, where I’m passionate about helping students navigate their mental health and thrive.
Outside of work, I’m lucky to have a wonderful husband, a curious 5-year-old son, a sweet 2-year-old daughter, and Charlie—a 1-year-old black lab mix who’s proud to be Legend’s new therapy dog!
Charlie, Therapy Dog
Charlie’s journey began far from the halls of Legend High School—out on the streets of New Mexico. As a tiny black lab mix puppy, one of ten in her litter with her mom, she and her siblings faced the tough reality of life without a home. But their luck changed when the compassionate team at Colorado Puppy Rescue found them and brought them to Colorado, giving Charlie and her siblings a fresh start full of hope and love.
Fast forward to today, and Charlie is now Legend High’s superstar therapy dog and official co-counselor at just 1½ years old! From those early days on the streets to roaming our halls, she’s gone from a scared little pup to a confident, friendly presence who brings comfort and calm to students and staff alike.
Charlie’s here to help everyone feel a little more relaxed during those stressful days—whether it’s before exams, tough meetings, or just a busy day at school. She’s like your furry teammate, always ready to listen (no judgment, just lots of love) and brighten your mood with a friendly paw or a snuggle.
Charlie partners with our counselors to support students’ emotional well-being. If you spot her around campus, don’t hesitate to say hello—she’s definitely the friendliest co-counselor you’ll ever meet, always ready to brighten your day with a wag and a snuggle!
