Social Order

What is a community?

Communities are where people live in the same area, or a community can also be a group of people who share the same interests that meet up with one another.

All types of communities have rules or ideas that everyone agrees to and tries to uphold. This helps the group or area to stay organized and to keep things fair for everyone in the community.

All communities will consider these two questions:

1. How will we share our ideas and make decisions?

2. What do we do when others in our group disagree or there's a problem to be solved?

Talking to Others when

there's a Problem:

1. Ask nicely to please stop whatever action they’re doing or saying that is not wanted.

2. After the request is made politely, you have the power to make the request with authority so that the other person knows you are serious about the request.

3. Once a request has been stated with authority and the other person has not stopped their behavior, then inform me of the problem so that I can talk to that person.
