World Read Aloud Day is on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Celebrate the power of reading aloud with millions of people around the world! Reach out to your teachers and admin to plan how your school can participate.

The theme is Celebrate Learning, which highlights how reading aloud is a tool for knowledge. Suggested activities include virtual author visits, story times with guest readers, and community-wide reading initiatives.
