P.E. Protocol

P.E. PROTOCOL

With the uniqueness to this year, I wanted to be clear about the safety protocols that will be in place to keep your son/daughter safe in my class. If you have any questions about these or would like further clarification please contact me at your earliest convenience. Take a look...

Locker Rooms: This year, our Wellness department will not be using locker rooms. Our goal is to maximize our time being active while minimizing the amount of COVID exposure that could come from close proximity within the locker rooms.

Student Uniforms: CMS students will NOT be required to wear our P.E. uniforms this year due to the fact that we are not using the locker rooms. However, we will be expecting students to wear correct P.E. attire on the days that they have P.E. Wearing activewear on P.E. days will be part of your work habits grade for the class. If your child would like to bring clothes to change in to for P.E. each day, they can change in the bathroom before class. They will be allowed 5 minutes at the beginning of class of 5 minutes at the end of class to change into/out of their P.E. attire.

  • Correct P.E. attire is as follows:

    • No jeans/dress pants/khakis

    • No skirts/dresses

    • No open-toed shoes, boots, or dress shoes
