Cost is $300 per Course
NON-DCSD students need to complete a Summer School OLR application. Please go to the DCSD District Enrollment page to find the specific Summer School OLR Application.
2025 HRHS Summer School will offer credit recovery through the Edgenuity platform. We are sorry that we can not offer in person this year, however, Mountain Vista is the only school offering in person summer school this year.

SUMMER SCHOOL OPTIONS
Credit Recovery
Online through the Edgenuity Program, self-paced
Move through the course material at a quicker pace
F grade will remain on the transcript and still factor into cumulative GPA
Not NCAA eligible
Making up a failed course. Must satisfy the same graduation requirement as failed class
Enrolled courses will be added to the student’s transcript. If a student does not pass a credit recovery course, with a 60% or above, another F is added to the transcript.
Students should expect to spend 2-3 hours per day, per course to complete credit recovery courses. Students will have access to the course 24/7.
Extensions will NOT be given beyond the last day of the session (Session #1 June 26, Session #2 July 22). If students do not finish on time, they will earn an F on their transcript.
Grade Replacement
CAN NOT be taken on-line, must be taken in the classroom on campus. If there isn't enough interest in each class to staff a full class, this option won't be available.
eDCSD both Sessions Virtual Classes Offered
Original grade will remain on the transcript, but not factor into cumulative GPA. NCAA eligible if same class at HRHS.
Can replace any grade a student is not satisfied with. Must be the exact course taken at HRHS
Enrolled courses will be added to the student’s transcript. The final grade will be added to the student’s transcript, even if that grade is the same or lower than the original grade.
