About me
Hi! My name is Gail Golish (most students call me Ms. G; kindergarten students often call me Ms. Gold Rush), and I am thrilled to be your school librarian! I have been at Gold Rush Elementary for 18 years, and there is nothing I love more than watching my students spark a love of reading.
I have a master's degree from West Chester University and a bachelor's in Psychology from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. I have earned 3 Highly Effective Libraries Through Schools (HESTL) credentials from the Colorado Department of Education. My goal as an educator is to create a joyful, inclusive, and welcoming environment where every student feels celebrated, empowered, and encouraged to grow.
