In the Douglas County Preschool program we work as a collaborative and trans-disciplinary team in our fully integrated preschool classroom. What that means is that we strive to provide the most whole early education experience for all learners whether they are typically developing, at risk or have identified special needs. In order to do this we keep our class sizes low and schedule 2-3 staff members in the class room each day. Because many of our staff work in a few different classrooms this means that staff will be rotating in and out providing services to students as well as consulting with the team in their particular area of expertise. Our Fox Creek preschool team reports to Leigh Quintana, Early Childhood Coordinator, leigh.quintana@dcsdk12.org
