Early Childhood Mission Statement
The Douglas County Preschool Program is an inclusive program for both typically developing students and students identified with special needs. Each classroom serves approximately 15 students with a teaching staff of 3-4 adults.
The mission of the Early Childhood Preschool Program is to provide an educational foundation for young children and to develop relationships among families, staff and community for individual student achievement.

The Douglas County Preschool Program is an inclusive program for both typically developing students and students identified with special needs.
Length of class is a 2 hour 30 minute session 4 days per week for morning , and a 3 hour session 5 days per week for afternoon. Our 70 Preschool classrooms are located in DCSD buildings throughout the school district.
