MEET MS. SPRUILL

I began my teaching career in Colorado as an intern at the Rocky Mountain School of Expeditionary Learning (RMSEL).  Since then, I’ve spent all 23 years of my teaching career in EL and still love and believe in it.  This year is my third year at Fox Creek and I still really appreciate the focus on crew and community that I felt as a new member of FCE.  

When I'm not in the classroom, I try to spend time relaxing, enjoying the outdoors, hanging out with friends and family and playing as much as possible.  I snowboard, hike, backpack and play indoor and outdoor soccer, as well as try to get to the ocean whenever I can.  My sister and I own a house together and share it with our two pups who keep us busy and entertained.  I come from a family of teachers - my mom taught pre-school and both of my sisters teach as well.

I’m excited about this year, and look forward to trying to find as many authentic opportunities for us to deepen our learning as possible.
