PERSONAL INFORMATION

Hello! My name is Jennifer Anson, and I’m so excited to be your child’s sixth grade teacher. You can call me Ms. Anson or Ms. Jenn. This is my fourteenth year teaching sixth grade at Fox Creek and my 24th year of teaching overall. I feel incredibly honored to continue learning and growing alongside our amazing sixth grade team.

I grew up in Iowa and earned my teaching degree from the University of Northern Iowa. After graduating, I spent ten years teaching elementary school in San Antonio, Texas. Eventually, I was ready for a new adventure and made the move to Colorado—which quickly felt like home.

Outside of the classroom, I keep myself busy with a variety of activities. You can find me working out, tutoring math, reading nonfiction, watching the WNBA, cooking with organic ingredients, renovating a house in Boulder, connecting with friends, traveling to visit family, and exploring Colorado’s beautiful outdoors with Court, my favorite human, and our dogs.
