Audition Steps and Submission Instructions

Please encourage ALL of your students to audition!

ALL students will need to fill out a registration form before their audition recording session. There is a BAND Registration Form and an STRING ORCHESTRA Registration Form. Please also look through step 2 and do some practice tracks to make sure you have all your volumes and settings correct, and the audio is recording. 

Steps

1 - Have student fill out either the Band Registration Form or Orchestra Registration Form. Once the student has finished filling out the registration form, they may begin their audition. 

2 -  There is no Audition Script. Teachers Just record all in one track in this order: First scale, Second scale, excerpt #1, excerpt #2. 

3 - Use the Tutorial Video for the Audition submit Process

*TEACHERS ONLY will be given specific access/rights to this Google drive/folder*

4 - Please await further information. All MS teachers will be asked to please listen to a certain number of anonymous audition recordings, and then use the provided band, percussion, or strings rubric to evaluate those recordings. This will allow for us to fairly complete the audition selection process. We would like to use teachers with specialities in instrument areas (woodwind, brass, percussion, strings, etc) for the auditions if possible.
