About me - I’m originally from Wyoming, moved to Greeley for grad school and continued moving south. I enjoy hiking (especially if it involves waterfalls), biking, kayaking, reading, traveling and riding my moped around town. I love attending live performances - theater, concerts, comedy shows. My husband and I have been married for 26 years and have 2 kids in college and 2 dogs (thankfully not in college). The best aspect of my job is seeing students succeed and watching their confidence grow.

About me- I am a former elementary teacher turned high school counselor. I am also a mother to the most precious little girl named Sage. When I am not counseling or being mom, I am usually reading or spending time in the great outdoors with friend, family, dogs(Lawson and Bashful) or my wonderful husband, Dylan. Fun facts: I am a published poet and was one of 25 in my graduating class in Byers, CO.

I am a Kansas native who has been living in Colorado since 2017. I wear two hats at DCHS - counselor and gifted facilitator! I love working with students to help them with academics, planning for the future, and making the most of their high school experience. My husband and I met in college and have been married for 19 years! We have three amazing kids–two of them attend DC (with mom) and the youngest is in elementary school. In my free time, you can find me traveling, reading a book, or watching my kids in their sports and activities.

I'm a proud DCHS graduate who finds joy in creativity—currently fiber art, painting, and leatherworking. I love home design and DIY projects, a passion inspired by my interior designer parents. I've lived and taught in both Mexico and Italy. I enjoy cooking and especially love making meals to share with others. As a counselor, I’m passionate about helping students discover their interests and plan for futures they’re genuinely excited about.

I am a Colorado Native growing up in Boulder and Littleton. I am a sucker for a fuzzy face and love being outdoors enjoying nature. I retired from the Counseling office in 2021 and was asked back to run our Homebase. Homebase is a counseling room for students who experience anxiety or adverse reactions to any form of trauma. I am also the Expulsion Coordinator for our building.
