The Huskie International Baccalaureate Parent Organization is the parent support organization for the IBO chapter at Douglas County High School (DCHS) in Castle Rock, Colorado. It was formed by the parents of DCHS students who are in the IB program.
The Huskie IBPO activities are supported by your donations!
The Annual dues of $50 per student help fund our schedule of activities. In addition to ongoing expenses for web site hosting, the IBPO provides IB-centric social events, informational speakers, workshops, and support activities for IB students and staff.
Sponsorship funds for IB exams are funded from IBPO dues. The IBPO also supplements snacks during exams and holds the End of Year Senior Banquet, where staff meals are paid by IBPO and one student receives a college scholarship. With your support we can build a great organization.
You can pay your voluntary annual fees and additional voluntary donations when you register your student at 2024-25 DCHS IBPO Online Registration and Voluntary dues
Donations to Huskie IBPO are tax-exempt.

The Extended Essay Camp dates are posted and nearly ready for sign up! The cost is $145 per student for all four sessions (covers the cost of paying teachers for their time on the Saturday sessions). As we have always stated, the cost of the program should never be a limiting factor for any of the students and the IBPO is able to sponsor families who need financial assistance. We want to have 100% attendance to all of these sessions, so please be sure to help your student prioritize these events!!! The dates of the camp are as follows:
Saturday, January 10th 9am-12pm (DCHS)
Friday, January 16th during the school day (Auraria Campus)
Saturday, March 7th 9am-12pm (DCHS)
Saturday, April 18th 9am-12pm (DCHS)

The deadline for registering for IB exams AND paying is coming up! Starting November 16th, there will lbe a $40 fee per cost item. If you need extra time paying or need assistance, please reach out to the IBPO directly. To find instructions on how to register, visit the Current IB Students page on this website.
