What is Think Tank?
Think tank is when I will pull students out each week for 1/2 hour in grade level groups (6th grade is split between two groups based on their homeroom teacher). During this time we will learn how to be curious and explore topics the students are interested in - think of it as a Passion Project. We will also learn about what it means to be gifted and work on social emotional awareness. Students will sometimes work on creative problem solving. During this time we will also explore careers and the older students will learn basic college vocabulary and research some different colleges and what it takes to get into college. As we explore new topics I will add them to this list:)
