Fri., Jan. 17, 6:30-8:45pm, Regis Jesuit High School - with guest conductor

Sat., Jan. 18, 1-6pm, Regis Jesuit High School - with guest conductor

Tues., Jan. 21, 2:00-4:30pm, + 7pm Concert, Boettcher Concert Hall

All students auditioning and participating must be members of their high school music program.

All students who are auditioning must complete the Participation Contract PRIOR to their audition. This will be posted in late October.

Our Final Rehearsal and Performance will be at Boettcher Concert Hall - 1000 14th St, Denver, CO 80202

All auditions will be submitted electronically. Auditions will be taken from the All-State & Western States Honor Orchestra Excerpts

Audition Recording Requirements:

• The audition file (mp3 file) must be labeled: LastName_FirstName_School_Instrument.mp3

• All required audition material must be included in one file in the following order: Scales, then Orchestral Excerpts. Only one file including all audition requirements should be submitted per applicant.  Do NOT announce your name, school, or instrument at the beginning of the recording.

• Audition recordings must be recorded without accompaniment.  Recordings must also be unedited with no added “overdubs” or reverb.

• Mp3 files must be compressed at a bitrate of no more than 256 kbps. Files larger than 20MB will not be accepted. Consider that the quality of the audition recording may reasonably affect the perception of the adjudicators.

• To submit your recording, fill out the Audition Contract and then email your audition file to your director.
