All users of the LMC should follow the expectations: BE SAFE, BE RESPECTFUL, & BE RESPONSIBLE.

Vision
The vision of Cimarron Middle School’s Library Media Center is to create a welcoming environment that empowers the school community to think, create, share, and grow.
Mission
To create a quality program that promotes lifelong reading and learning habits by:
providing opportunities to communicate, collaborate, create, think critically, and engage in curious exploration.
using information ethically and effectively.
providing access to relevant and quality resources that support the curriculum and topics of personal interest.
fostering support for social/emotional needs through culturally responsive teaching, community building, and resource curation.
Protect your freedom to read and be yourself as you choose reading materials!
“Intellectual Freedom is the right of every individual to both seek and receive information from all points of view without restriction. It provides for free access to all expressions of ideas through which any and all sides of a question, cause, or movement may be explored.”
~American Library Association~
Feel free to return any materials that are not for you. Please respect every individual's right to self-select their reading material at our library.
ALL students may borrow YA books. These tend to have more mature content and language. If a student or family feels the book isn't a good fit yet, simply return it.
