Hi Buffalo Ridge!

My name is Kayla Wells and I am so excited to be here this year! I come from an elementary teaching background and have spent the past few years at home with my three children ages 8, 6 and 4. I am so excited to be back in a school environment and what better way than surrounded by kids and books at an awesome school!

I have a love for reading and books (no surprise 😉) and hope to pass along that passion and inspire the kids to become life long readers themselves. If I can hook at least one kid into the magic of books this year, I'll say I've done my job. My hope is that every kid finds at least one book in the library that they love throughout this year.

When I'm not reading or in the library, I love spending time in the Colorado outdoors with my family- hiking and paddle boarding. I also enjoy yoga and rock climbing.
